Photography: Seeing the World in Thirds

The photographer’s eye is divided into thirds. I’ve used the Rule of Thirds while photographing hundreds of events for the Memphis Public Library System, arguably thousands during the course of my career. Framing a shot with an aesthetically-pleasing depth of field and vantage point makes the difference between an average shot and an extraordinary one.

Below are a few of the images I captured using a Canon EOS M Digital Camera (EF-M 18-55 IS STM). This is how I see the world in thirds!
